TERMS AND CONDITIONS

As our guest, Krishna Village values your comfort and convenience and aims to provide a relaxed and joyous, spiritually enriching experience for all our visitors. Please read the below stipulations before making your booking, to make sure that you are in agreement with these policies.

1. Code of Conduct

Krishna Village retains the right to refuse any guests who do not comply with the values we uphold (see our Code of Conduct) and the healthy and wholesome atmosphere at our retreat (see info pages:  Bhakti Culture and Are you ready) or who are disrespectful to members of staff or other guests. In case we need to ask you to leave because you don’t comply with the rules, you forfeit your payment as per our Cancellation Policy.

2. Cancellation Policy

Our cancellation policy aims to provide flexibility for our guests while also ensuring that Krishna Village can maintain its operations and provide quality service. We have created it to be fair to both parties. Please read it before making your booking.

3. Guests Experiencing Disabilities

We are committed to supporting guests with physical, sensory, or mental health-related needs and want to ensure a safe, comfortable stay for all.

Support Recommendations
We strongly recommend that individuals experiencing disabilities or mental health challenges be accompanied by a carer or trusted support person. This helps ensure that any personal, medical, or mobility-related needs are managed effectively.

The role of a carer or support person includes:

  • Assisting with personal care and specific accommodations
  • Being prepared to respond to emergencies
  • Helping to ensure a safe and smooth experience for the guest and the wider community

Assistance Animal & Service Dog Policy

We strive to welcome guests who travel with assistance animals or service dogs and are committed to supporting an inclusive and respectful environment. This policy outlines how we accommodate assistance animals, service dogs, and emotional support animals (ESAs), in line with the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (DDA), while maintaining the comfort of all our guests.

Activity & Sound Levels

Krishna Village is a vibrant retreat environment that includes yoga classes, workshops, kirtan, and other group events. These may involve sound and movement. While we do our best to create peaceful spaces, we cannot guarantee a quiet environment at all times. Guests with sensory sensitivities or support animals affected by sound should consider this before booking.

4. Use of written and photographic material
Any written material provided to Krishna Village in the form of homework, feedback forms or assignments may be used by Krishna Village for marketing purposes. Any photographs taken by Krishna Village of attendees on our courses, teacher trainings, yoga classes or retreats may be used by Krishna Village for marketing purposes.
If you would prefer we do not use any of the above material written by you or containing your image, we will respect your choice. It is your responsibility to advise Krishna Village of this in a written document, and CC your course facilitator, to make this known to them as well.

5. Environmental Policy

At Krishna Village, we are dedicated to reducing our carbon footprint on the earth. While our courses do require printed material we endeavour to reduce printing where possible by providing web-based documents and giving students the choice as to whether they would like to receive printed material (supplementary course handouts) when possible.

most homework is provided in a web-based form and will not be printed out. Thank you for helping us support the world in which we all live.
