We are uber-blessed in this part of the world. The krishna farm is nestled among rolling mountain ranges in the foothills of the sacred Mt Warning in the Northern Rivers of NSW. The land has a magnetic feeling to it, affecting the power of our intentional community and our connection to each other, the environment and the divine.
Along with the flowing creek that runs through the property here at New Govardhana, (which we all enjoy for afternoon cool downs) we have many close-by natural attractions and national parks to explore during your stay with us. Grab your buddies, jump in a car and explore the wild:
Massage Rocks, Tyalgum
Just 2.5km down the road from Krishna Village, this grassy and secluded creek area opens up to a stunning waterhole. Easy enough for an afternoon getaway for some alone time or pack a picnic and take the Krishna crew for some quality bonding time in the babbling waters.
Natural Bridge, Springbrook national park
A cruisy 40 minute drive through the rolling hills of the surrounding countryside, you’ll find yourself in the midst of tall trees, fresh air and a picturesque rock formation, Natural Bridge. This waterfall and cave are home to glowworms so there is no swimming, but plenty of photo opportunities and spaces to find some bliss in the sounds of nature.

Killarney Glen waterhole
A short but steep hike down in to the bush is oh so worth it – boasting a heart-shaped waterhole, Killarney Glen is a super popular weekend spot for locals and tourists to enjoy. You’ll discover dozens of daring adventurers jumping off the higher rocks in to the turquoise water below, and find some space to catch some sun rays amongst the sounds of nature.

Coolangatta/Kirra beach
An easy 40 minute drive along the motorway brings you to the stunning breaks of Coolangatta and Kirra on the Gold Coast. These hip beachside towns cater for tourism with an abundance of cafe’s and shops but are adored by the locals. The surf is what attracts many here, the crystal clear waters a whole different kind of meditation. Park up here, put your laundry on and hit the beach!
