Women's Circle Facilitator Course

Learn to create, contain & hold sacred space

Gain the tools & confidence needed to run your own Women's Circles

 Next course: 11-13 September

When women gather in confidentiality & non-judgement to share their stories, fears and desires in a fully witnessed receivership, the neuroplasticity of their brains begins to shift. Transformation begins.

Together, we will explore and workshop the art of creating, containing and holding sacred space, and will implement our learnings right away. You will leave this weekend with all the tools & confidence needed to run your own women's circles.

The art & craft of creating sisterhood

Holding Women's Circles isn't following a cookie cutter sequence. Instead, it is a deeply personal gift, from heart to heart. Let Loki guide you to find your own, unique voice in your offerings. As an experienced circle facilitator for well over a decade, Loki will share how to step into a space of intentional leadership, using your empathy and life experience to support and shift stories of trauma in women. Together, we will explore:

How to hold space
Learn techniques to swiftly enter the frequency of the space holder

Ritual
Learn to open and close a sacred space: meditations, smudging, breath work & altar
Explore and create many different ways a circle can be offered in order to find your personal style & offering

Empowerment through deep listening
Develop radical non-judgement & become a sacred vessel of confidentially without burden

***

Throughout this transformational weekend, Loki will share all of her techniques to transform the energies and potential trauma stories in the room. Whatever burdens are being held, learn to help the women in your circle to release them, incl. old patterns and limitations.

Loki DeJager

Born in Canada, Loki began her inner work at 18, when she lost her best friend at the hands of a drunk driver and not long after, was sexually assaulted by a man on a weekend pass from jail. The grief experienced due to these two profound incidents led Loki on a path of spiritual seeking, in pursuit of self realisation

With a relentless determination to follow her heart, Loki travelled all the way to a village outside Calcutta in India, where she found comfort with small children whose smiles were brighter than the sun. She eventually married, moved to Australia and had two beautiful daughters of her own. At that point, life had become a place of comfort and financial stability... until the global financial crisis changed everything! Two miscarriages, divorce, and financial losses created massive challenges. At that time, she decided to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Education, again taking comfort in the presence of children - a place where love is truly alive!

In the process of rebuilding her life, Loki leaned even more into the power of community and began joining Women's Circles - some with a financial background, some purely for mutual support. Over a period of 3 years, Loki was trained in facilitating Women's Circles, deeply listening, practising radical non-judgement and intentionally growing community and sisterhood.

Loki has since added a Certificate 4 in Community Services and Counselling to her skill set, and supported families and youth in her community for the past decade. During this time, Loki has held many profound Women's Circles at Krishna Village, in Murwillumbah and surrounds, and during Covid, online. An anchor that many remember fondly as a hub of care and community during a challenging time.

Krishna Village is honoured to welcome Loki back as a facilitator, coming "full circle" by passing on her skills and wisdom to other women, who will carry the torch of sisterhood into their own communities.

The Krishna Farm

The Krishna Farm, "New Govardhana" serves as an ashram to a community of yogis who aspire to live according to their deepest vows and commitments on their path of service, spiritual contentment and happiness (Bhakti Yoga). Their service and dedication make this location a beautiful place of growth, healing and spiritual awakening. The temple is the beating heart of the community at New Govardhana and we encourage all who visit the property to come along and experience the lifestyle and philosophy reflected by the practice of Krishna consciousness.

Words of appreciation for Loki

“Loki was my first introduction to women's circles, and to this day; the first encounter with her and the space she held was one of the most potent and healing experiences of my life. She leads with strength, warmth, wisdom and is a true sister in service of the softness and empowerment of women. She leads with so much humility that feeling safe and seen in her presence is immediate. Her work is truly life-changing, and I'm so blessed to have taken part and have her as a dear friend." - Jacqui Chivers
