What is Krishna Cuisine?
Krishna Cuisine is 100% pure vegetarian (no eggs, onion or garlic), karma free and delicious! It really made a mark in Australia back in 2009 when the famous 'Govindas' Restaurant opened in Burleigh Heads (now also in Coolangatta and Kingscliff) and ranked consistently in the top 10 vegetarian restaurants around the coast. With people flocking in day after day and lines extending out and around the corner, people would always ask: "What makes Krishna Food so good?!"
Whilst initially our dishes were based on traditional Indian recipes, these days we are inspired by a wide range of cuisines from around the world: from Mexican to Italian, from Asian to Lebanese - all with a contemporary western fusion and a love for spices.
The tastes never disappoint, and there is one more magic ingredient that makes Krishna Cooking famous world wide: love and devotion!
What is included in this workshop?
Radha switches up the menu from month to month and will delight you with a different regional focus and new tastes every time. So if you love her as much as we do, come back and do it all over again... ❤️

Accommodation options
Krishna Village is located on a beautiful organic farm in the scenic foothills of Mt. Warning, half way between Byron Bay and the Gold Coast. The closest town is Murwillumbah, and the nearest airport Coolangatta (the Gold Coast airport).
Our Retreat Center is spread out across a beautiful natural farm setting, which means that some of our facilities and accommodation require a bit of walking. We offer a range of accommodation options from camping spots to creatively renovated container rooms, private pine cabins set in the hills overlooking the valley and more.
The Krishna Farm
Nestled in the foothills of the Wollumbin National Park in the heart of the Northern Rivers of New South Wales, the Krishna Farm “New Govardhana” is a 1000 acre property with orchards, organic vegetable gardens, cows, streams and swimming holes in abundance.
New Govardhana serves as an ashram to a community of yogis who aspire to live according to their deepest vows and commitments on their path of service, spiritual contentment and happiness (Bhakti Yoga). Their service and dedication make this location a beautiful place of growth, healing and spiritual awakening. The temple is the beating heart of our community and we encourage all our guests to come along and experience the lifestyle and philosophy of Krishna consciousness.
