SILVER MEDALLION LEVEL 2: ThaiVedic Vayus Therapist

If you are ready to build on your foundational bodywork skills, this certified Level 2 training offers advanced diagnostic techniques, deeper therapeutic insights, and 5 mini bodywork sequences to refine your treatments and support profound healing.

This advanced certification expands your understanding of elemental bodywork techniques and refines your ability to provide highly individualised treatments. Deepen Your connection to the Energy Body. This training offers a deeper application of healing through the energy body, including how to diagnose and treat the Ayurvedic Vayus — the five intelligences that regulate health and harmony throughout the body’s different zones.

Through this understanding, you will learn five new mini sequences, designed to restore balance to each of the Vayus. These sequences incorporate acupressure points, dynamic stretches, osteopathy, and traditional Thai Massage techniques.

You will also explore the individualised use of therapeutic substances in bodywork sessions, including balms, moxibustion, and dosha-balancing essential oils from the ThaiVedic system — giving you powerful tools to tailor your treatments for deeper results.

Refine your ability to identify root causes of imbalance and apply targeted therapies

This Thaivedic Bodywork Training teaches you to help your clients heal through touch therapies and lifestyle guidance. This training is unique as it teaches you no only another modality, but in addition, a holistic framework where all modalities can be understood and used more effectively.

Drawing wisdom from the timeless traditions of Ayurveda and Thai Buddhist Medicine, you will come to understand the benefits and weaknesses of different healing techniques and the most effective time and place to apply them based on the individual and the causative factors you observe. Our instructors are committed and devoted practitioners of their crafts, and their teachings are deeply informed by their clinical practice.

Thai Buddhist Medicine

Is a complete holistic system that has been used in Thailand for more than a thousand years and has many roots leading back to India. It integrates 5 branches of therapy: internal, external, divination, spirit sciences, and buddhist psychology.

ThaiVedic draws from the wisdom of this unbroken tradition and particularly the branches of: external medicine with therapeutic touch and buddhist psychology, e.g. in the form of practices that promote divine states of consciousness. This enables therapeutic touch to be far more than just physical healing.

Ayurveda - Timeless Wisdom

Ayurveda is the world’s oldest recorded system of healing. Used for more than 5,000 years by thousands of doctors on millions of patients, it is a proven system of both prevention and healing.

In modern times, Ayurveda has grown immensely and is now used by doctors all over the world. This is not just because of the effective therapies that it offers but more specifically the way that it views disease and therapy. The 5 element and 3 dosha system is profound for understanding the deeper causes behind superficial symptoms and can be used to balance all areas of life.

Course Objectives

On completion of this Silver Medallion Level 2 Training, you will:

Unlock a deeper sensitivity and awareness with your understanding of the meridian system and its connection to dosha type diseases

Accommodation

Krishna Village is located on a beautiful organic farm in the scenic foothills of Mt. Warning, half way between Byron Bay and the Gold Coast. The closest town is Murwillumbah, and the nearest airport Coolangatta (the Gold Coast airport).

Our Retreat Center is spread out across a beautiful natural farm setting, which means that some of our facilities and accommodation require a bit of walking. We offer a range of accommodation options from camping spots to creatively renovated container rooms, private pine cabins set in the hills overlooking the valley and more.

Delicious Vegetarian Meals

The Krishna Farm has been producing organic veggies since the 1980s and is well established to grow a variety of high-quality produce, free of chemical fertilizers and pesticides. We grow as much of our own food as we can, and otherwise buy locally wherever possible.

All our food, whether served at the village  is prasadam - sacred food prepared in a consciousness of loving service. Like in other cultures, we offer our food before we eat to say Grace and thank the Divine for the sun, the rain, and all the visible and invisible blessings necessary to co-create a delicious meal. Feel free to sing along with us, or just listen and enjoy…

About the Krishna Farm

Nestled in the foothills of the Wollumbin National Park in the heart of the Northern Rivers of New South Wales, the Hare Krishna Farm “New Govardhana” is a 1000 acre certified organic property with orchards, syntropic vegetable gardens, cows, horses, streams and swimming holes in abundance.

New Govardhana serves as an ashram to a community of yogis who aspire to live according to their deepest vows and commitments on their path of service, spiritual contentment and happiness (Bhakti Yoga). Their service and dedication make this location a beautiful place of growth, healing and spiritual awakening. The temple is the beating heart of the community at New Govardhana and we encourage all who visit the property to come along and experience the lifestyle and philosophy reflected by the practice of Krishna consciousness.
