Required course materials
For your training, you will need a few additional items. We offer them for purchase at the Krishna Village, but want to give you the option of buying / bringing your own. So please make sure that upon arrival you have either bought the items or separately of have some money with you to buy them from us.
Yoga Teacher shirts with Krishna Village logo
You will need at least one T-Shirt or tank top with a Krishna Village logo, to wear when you are starting to teach classes for Krishna Village guests. We have a range of shirts available at the Krishna Village reception shop.
Book pack
Apart from your yoga teacher training manual, your book pack contains:
“Bhagavad Gita: Talks Between the Soul and God” by Ranchor Prime, 2010, paperback
“Yoga Anatomy” by Leslie Kaminoff, 2011
A japa mala (108 beads to chant with) if you do not have your own.
The cost of the pack is $50. Alternatively, you can purchase the items by yourself (or bring them, if you already have them).
What to pack – Clothing, camping and more …
Our teacher trainer Lila has compiled a packing list for you with all the things we recommend you bring along. On there, you can find anything from ‘A’ like ‘alarm clock’ to ‘Y’ like ‘Yoga mat’. Please make sure to consider the time of the year, too, so you have appropriate clothes for warm, cold, rainy and dry weather…
